Poles on Russian propaganda about history
The survey’s main objective was to identify Poles’ attitudes to Russian propaganda about history and how they see Poland’s response to these moves. Respondents shared their knowledge about specific Russian propaganda statements and their accompanying emotions. The report accordingly sheds light on social awareness in Poland concerning Russia’s campaign of falsifying and relativising 20th century history that has been under way for several years and that casts a deep shadow on Polish-Russian relations.
