The north-eastern territories of the Second Republic of Poland under Soviet occupation 1939-1941. Authorities and society

The aim of the project is to obtain and analyse documents of Soviet provenance presenting the main aspects of the process of Sovietization of north-eastern Poland in the years 1939-1941. A special place in the project will be given to documents concerning socio-economic, national and cultural life of the inhabitants of so-called Western Belarus and the Soviet policy of repression aimed at them.
